And the day came when the risk to remain tight in a bud was more painful than the risk it took to blossom. Anais Nin

The darling buds of March.

The weather was nice and sunny for most of last week so these guys finally decided to come out!

Some trees are starting to blossom around here! It's awesome!

A picture of the daffodils I got from the grocery store last week. They are still bright and kicking at this very moment! They were tight buds the night I put them in water and then I work up to a gorgeous flowery burst! It's part of my St. Patty's/Easter display for the table.

My friends Katy and Anthony welcomed their second son last Friday. I was thrilled to finally meet Westley today. He is such a sweet and tiny boy!

I found out today that an old friend from middle school passed away earlier this month from heart failure. She was always very nice to me and made those hellish 3 years of my life a little more bearable. Rest in peace Elise.

A church in Nuremberg, Germany. I know I've posted a different pic of the same building before but it's just so gorgeous and striking.

Happy Pi Day! Today is Albert Einstein's birthday. Since he lived in Princeton for 20 years, the town had a celebration today. We saw a look alike in the library today. Those kids were blown away by this guy!

Taken today while walking around in Princeton. The rain stopped but it was still quite dreary. Several of the roads are flooded and we're supposed to get more early this week.

I was having technical issues for most of the weekend and couldn't upload pics. I'll do three today to make up for it. This was taken in Hopewell back in early February. I thought the headstone looked like a photocopy.

I took several pictures of this church in Hopewell, NJ last night and I decided this was the best one.

This is Rocco and Lola. They live at the Silver Forge Farm. I've always thought it would be cool to have a pig.

I think that I'm being remarkably patient for Spring. Don't you?

We're supposed to get snow flurries today but nothing major is going to stick. I can't wait to start taking pictures like this again.

I think this is just my way of dropping Spring a little hint.

Happy March! This was taken last spring. We're probably close to another month from the flower burst this year but I'm trying to patiently wait and enjoy the fact that there are four distinct seasons.
